Advantage Trim & Lumber Co., Inc. in Grover, NC is seeking a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Laborer to join our team. This role involves pulling and packing orders, operating a forklift, and assisting with general labor to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

Full-time position, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with occasional overtime. Benefits after a 90-day intro period include vacation, sick time, holidays, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical labor.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Previous experience with woodworking, carpentry, millwork, manufacturing, machinery, or forklifts is a plus, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders.
• Package lumber and prepare shipments.
• Operate a forklift.
• Operate woodworking machinery such as planers, sanders, shapers, rip saws, and upcut saws.
• Stock and organize warehouse materials.
• Assist with general labor as needed.

We are a well-established lumber company specializing in luxury building products, including exotic hardwood decking and siding, as well as domestic and exotic hardwood lumber and flooring. We are conveniently located just six miles off I-85 on Blacksburg Rd (198), between Grover and Shelby.

What You’ll Do:

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Pulling and preparing customer orders
• Packaging lumber and preparing shipments
• Operating a forklift
• Operating woodworking machinery such as planers, sanders, shapers, rip saws, and upcut saws
• Stocking and organizing warehouse materials
• Assisting with general labor and other tasks as needed
• Working with team members to ensure orders are accurate and completed efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands‑on environment.

• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical labor
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Able to work well with others and communicate professionallyPrevious experience with woodworking, carpentry, millwork, manufacturing, machinery, or forklifts is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Occasional seasonal overtime and Saturday half-days may be required.
