Job summary

IQ Resource Group-Oshkosh is seeking motivated candidates on 1st and 2nd shift in Oshkosh. The role involves pulling steel material from stock, preparing it for delivery, and performing stock checks to confirm availability.

You will also pull orders per customer specifications and coordinate with the next shifts to ensure smooth production flow. The job pays $18 per hour, with 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday for 1st shift and 4pm-2am Monday-Thursday for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes and stacker equipment.
• Basic math skills including fractions to decimals.
• Ability to interpret the company's color-coding system.
• Willingness to work as part of a production team.

Hours:

• 1st shit hours are 6am-4pm Mon-Thur
• 2nd shift hours are 4pm-2am Mon-Thur

Responsibilities:

Responsible for pulling steel material from stock and preparing material for delivery to the appropriate customers. Besides that, stock checks to see if the material is in stock. In addition to pulling orders according to customerspecifications, an order puller is also responsible for the proper set-up and communication with proceeding shifts.

• Able to correctly pull the right material, package it correctly and then ship it to the correct customer.
• Restock material as needed.
• Measures/weighs material before shipping to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Able to successfully use the AS400, complete paperwork and complete production reports.
• Completes assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices. This regards to individual safety, the safety of other employees, and the safe use of equipment in the workplace.
• Wears approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor, lead person or management.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment such as a tape measure, calipers and micrometer.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and stacker equipment.
• Knowledge of the binding equipment and how to use it properly
• Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions as well as convert fractions to decimals or vice versa.
• Ability to recognize and interpret coJors according to the company's classification system.
• Ability to lift and move up to 7S pounds, as well as lift and move heavier objects with the assistance of cranes, forklifts, or another employee.
• Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safely precautions.
• Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a production team.
