Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in retail operations, order management, supply chain, or inventory support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP or order management systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and release daily store orders with high accuracy.
• Review order quantities against forecasts and inventories prior to release.
• Investigate and resolve order exceptions, shortages, substitutions, back orders, and system errors.
• Monitor patterns in over/under ordering or stockouts for corrective action.

Miss A Stores, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated, goal-oriented, and reliable Order Specialist to join our expanding team at our Headquarters office in Dallas Texas! This role plays a critical role in the accurate and timely execution of store replenishment orders, serving as a key link between inventory planning, distribution, and store operations. This individual is responsible for processing daily orders with precision, resolving exceptions in a timely manner, and upholding the operational standards that ensure product availability across the store fleet. This position offers a strong foundation for professionals seeking to build expertise in retail supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Process and release daily store orders with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring compliance with established scheduling and cutoff requirements
• Review order quantities against sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and inventory parameters prior to release, identifying discrepancies before they impact store fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve order exceptions, including shortages, substitutions, back orders, and system-generated errors, minimizing disruption to store operations.
• Monitor and report recurring patterns in over‑ordering, under‑ordering, or out‑of‑stock conditions to the Store Order Supervisor for corrective action.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for store partners regarding order status, processing timelines, and system constraints.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date order records, ensuring system data reflects current inventory conditions and business rules.
• Support the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new ordering tools, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalating any deviations or anomalies as appropriate.
• Assist with periodic audits related to order accuracy and inventory integrity, ensuring compliance with company policy.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Replenishment, Distribution, and Store Operations teams to identify and resolve order‑related issues efficiently.
• Provide responsive, professional support to store inquiries, escalating complex issues to the Store Order Supervisor when necessary.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in retail operations, order management, supply chain, or inventory support.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP or order management systems preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage data‑intensive tasks under deadline pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with store‑level stakeholders.
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Prior experience in retail, fashion, beauty, or jewelry industries preferred, though not required.
• Exceptional organizational ability with strong Verbal, Written Communication & follow‑up skills. Attention to detail is a MUST
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, (excel, word, power point, and outlook)
• Must be comfortable working independently while receiving occasional coaching, supervision, and encouragement
• In office Full Time position

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged long periods of sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
• Store visits - must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion
• Work in a Retail environment
• Retail store experience or strong understanding of how B&M retail merchandising works in practice
