Order Process Operator

Sanford Plant – Distribution Center

Kick off a challenging and rewarding career with Coty! Our Order Process Operator assembles orders in all distribution areas using standardized processes. The role is responsible for accuracy and quality, ensuring customer requirements are met.

THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting or exceeding labor standards/KPIs as established in each operational area.
• Working with respect to safety rules and procedures defined by Coty.
• Maintaining excellent safety performance.
• Performing BOSS audits as required.
• Performing required 5S duties.
• Picking and packing orders with an RF device to meet or exceed KPI goals.
• Conducting Quality assurance activities as required.
• Performing value-added activities as required.
• Managing return goods operational activities efficiently to meet KPI goals.
• Assisting in resolving operational issues as they arise.
• Accurately completing required paperwork.
• Training new team members on required processes.
• Interacting effectively with all workforce levels, including internal and external customers.
• Obtaining hazmat certification if required by work assignment; certification is preferred.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Knowledge

• Basic knowledge and experience with PC including Microsoft Products, DLX, DCS, and ETQ.
• Knowledge of logistics operations such as warehousing, replenishment, product codes, picking, packing, and dock operations.
• Full understanding of 5S methodology.

Functional/Technical/Physical Skills:

• Good communication skills and aptitude for computer-related activities.
• Experience with automated and/or RF systems.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Using root-cause problem-solving techniques.
• Reacting effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Multi-tasking with challenging assignments.
• Seeking and applying feedback from the operations team.
• Physical ability to climb stairs and crosswalks on the operations floor; may be required to work at heights.

Abilities:

• Effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Self-starter and innovative mindset.
• Ability to follow directions and apply work instructions.
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

This is a full-time position.

Work may require mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays, depending on business needs and shift schedules.

Work Environment:

Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Environment may vary with seasonal temperature changes.

Physical Demands:

Requires exerting 21-50 pounds of force occasionally, or 11-25 pounds frequently. Includes standing or walking for over 6 hours per day, with frequent stooping. Sitting is occasional.

Duration & Repetitive Standards:

Activities or conditions persist more than 2/3 of the time (~5.25 hours/day).
