Job summary

Taylor Fresh Foods, Inc. in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an Order Picking Supervisor to lead a large on-site warehouse team and ensure accurate order fulfilment and timely shipments. You will train, coach and evaluate staff, drive KPIs, and partner with supervisors to maintain production flow.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, strong communication, numerical skills, and proven ability to improve processes within ERP/WMS environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor or manager position.

• Experience with ERP and WMS systems is preferred.
• Ability to manage a large employee group and drive KPIs.
• Experience in warehouse inventory management and order fulfilment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a large team (greater than fifty) of employees to ensure daily execution of order fulfilment and customer shipments.

• Ensure required order fulfilment, accuracy levels, and shipping deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain and improve procedures to track and measure productivity and efficiency including accuracy, throughput, and quality.
• Meet departmental labor targets and budgets.
• Consistently communicate and drive accountability around expectations and standards to all team members.
• Maintain a clean, clear and organized work environment, adhere to GMP.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and product rotation.
• Effectively communicate with other supervisors and managers.

About the Role

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and operate required functions in the company’s ERP and WMS system.
• Individual should be a self-starter with ability to analyze and improve existing processes and systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor or manager position.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in managing large employee group (e.g. development of KPIs, creating a training program, promotion rate of employees etc. etc.).
• Previous experience in warehouse inventory management preferred.
• Previous order fulfilment experience preferred.
• Individual should be a strong leader and developer of people who can motivate colleagues and direct reports to achieve daily goals.
• Must possess a “lead from the floor” mindset and leadership style. This job requires ~75% of time to be spent directly supervising the operation from the floor.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
