Job summary

A.M. Leonard in Ohio is seeking candidates for a picking team role in our Distribution Center. The position requires stand-up and sit-down equipment experience, forklift operation daily, and the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

You will be cross-trained in pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services, with safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance measured as performance indicators. We offer comprehensive benefits including a high deductible health plan with HSA

Job description

Our picking team is responsible for ensuring the accurate selection of products needed to process our customers' orders. Equipment experience is required for this position as forklifts and tuggers will be used on a daily basis.

This team is measured on safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance.

As we promote a strong team environment, associates in the Distribution Center will be cross-trained in a multitude of roles including pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services.

Stand up and sit down equipment experience is a MUST.

This position pays $20.00 an hour.

Candidates should also have the following education, experience, and abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with scanning technology
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Reliable transportation
• Solid work history showing longevity with past employers
