Job summary

A&B Beverage Company LLC is seeking a warehouse associate in Grand Prairie, TX to accurately pick orders, build pallets, and verify items before staging for delivery. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, while adhering to safety policies and maintaining a clean work area.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, handling damaged products, and performing routine equipment inspections. A PIT certification is preferred and basic math/reading skills are essential in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or order-picking preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Able to obtain PIT (forklift) certification.
• Basic math and reading skills for order verification.
• Detail oriented with accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operation inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure safe function.
• Performs quarterly maintenance checks on equipment including water and battery levels.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support general warehouse operations including housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous warehouse, distribution or order-picking experience is preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack etc.)
• Basic math and reading skills for order verification
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products ranging from 25 to 170 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where steel-toed footwear is required.
