Job summary

A.M. Leonard in the United States distribution center is seeking candidates for a packing team role. The job focuses on accuracy, quality, safety, and timely order preparation; training is provided and equipment experience is preferred.

The position is full-time, first shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, about 40 hours weekly, starting at $18.34 per hour. Benefits include HDHP, dental and vision, HSA contributions, health clinic access, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) with matching.

Job description

Our packing team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality preparation of our customers' orders. Equipment experience is preferred but training is available.

This team is measured on safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance.

As we promote a strong team environment, associates in the Distribution Center will be cross-trained in a multitude of roles including pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services.

This team will work between 40 hours on the first shift Monday - Friday 8a - 4:30p

This position starts at $18.34

Candidates should also have the following education, experience, and abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Experience with scanning technology
• Forklift experience preferred, not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Reliable transportation
• Solid work history showing longevity with past employers

BENEFITS

We offer a high deductible health plan (HDHP), dental, and vision insurance. We contribute $60 per month to enrolled employees’ HSA accounts.

Employees and their dependents who are enrolled in our HDHP also have access to our employee health clinic where they can access healthcare for well and sick visits, immunizations, lab services, and more at no cost.
