Job summary

Evergreen Enterprises Of Virginia Llc seeks experienced Order Pickers to join the warehouse team at Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA. You will obtain pick sheets, prepare carts, verify SKUs and quantities, place items securely in boxes, label shipments, and communicate any issues to warehouse leadership.

You may also assist in packing, dropship, and other warehouse tasks as needed. A reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to lift 45 lbs are essential; basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Obtain pick sheet and prepare cart for picking.
• Accurately locate pick locations and verify SKU and quantity.
• Place items in box neatly and securely to avoid damage.
• Apply shipping labels and mark boxes with correct information.
• Communicate discrepancies to warehouse leadership (missing items, wrong items, boxes not fitting).
• Assist Packers and other warehouse areas as needed (packing, dropship, light manufacturing).
• Ensure products are safely packed, especially glass items, before closing boxes.

We help hundreds of vendors market and sell their products to retail establishments worldwide. Currently, we are seeking experienced Order Pickers to join our warehouse team at Midlothian Turnpike.Job Description/Duties:Order pickers:Obtain pick sheetPrepare cart for picking by adding correct box types and pinning ship label to each boxAccurately locate pick locations on pick sheetVerify correct sku and quantity before placing in designated boxPlace items in box in a neat and orderly arrangement to not damage product.Communicate to warehouse leadership:Any incorrect items found in a pick locationPick locations with no quantityNotate missing items on list for that specific boxBring completed boxes to the conveyor areaPackersGrab several boxes to fill your shipping conveyor areaVerify that each order has the first product listed inside the boxVerify or apply shipping label on the outside of the boxPlace the leftover document in the box that lists the items for that boxMake sure that the products fit in the box appropriately. If the order does not fit, then rearrange it or change the box sizeMake sure that the products are safely packed inside the box before closing. When handling glass products, make sure it has enough protection so it will not be damaged during transportation.Communicate to warehouse leadership:Any boxes that do not contain the first item listedAny boxes that won’t fit all items within the boxAssist in other warehouse areas when needed (eg. packing, picking, dropship, light manufacturing, and other warehouse areas)Clean designated work area at the end of the shiftSkills/Experience/Qualifications Required:Strong work ethicPositive attitudeExcellent attendanceMust be able to lift 45 lbs. on a continual basis.Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
