Job summary

Gibraltar Building Products is seeking a Shipping B Operator to ensure accurate fulfillment, assembly, and preparation of outbound orders in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate order-pickers and other material-handling equipment in compliance with Local 169 union guidelines and OSHA standards.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, log orders, wrap and label skids, and perform routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Certified OSHA Order Picker Operator (Written & Practical).
• Lift up to 10 lbs, 2/3 of the time.
• Lift up to 20 lbs, 1/3-2/3 of the time.
• Lift up to 50 lbs 1/3 of the time.
• Lift over 50 lbs up to 1/3 of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order pickers safety and cleanliness.
• Follow OSHA standards for forklifts and equipment.
• Pull orders, assemble on skids, label and wrap products.
• Record pulled orders and count inventory accurately.
• Return items to locations and maintain inventory records.
• Stay in good standing with Local 169 and maintain membership.
