Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Woodridge, IL is seeking an Order Picker to join our Talley team. You will use an RF Scanner to pick orders accurately and quickly, and hand-picked orders to shipping.

Shift is 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Requirements include 1 year warehouse experience; High School or GED preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift operation and basic English reading/writing and math. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Order Picker to join our Talley team in Woodridge, IL!

Summary

We are seeking an Order Picker that has strengths in using an RF Scanner, and the ability to pick orders for customers in a timely manner. Your expertise will help drive a service excellence work environment.

SHIFT: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

• Promote a positive working environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect, and adherence to the organization’s stated principles and values
• Pick customer orders, of all types, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Determine if orders can ship via the manner indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary actions to resolve incompatible shipping methods
• Provide picked orders to the shipping team / will call support for outbound processing
• Demonstrate and apply analytic problem-solving skills to resolve day-to-day inventory issues that impact order-picking processes
• Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility
• Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
• Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to operate a standard and stand-up forklift
• Required to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
• Customer Service skills a plus
