Rexel USA, Inc. is seeking an Order Picker to join the Talley team in Woodridge, IL. The role runs 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, focusing on accurate order picking, inventory control, and timely dispatch.

Requirements include 1 year of warehouse experience and a High School diploma or GED. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, operate a stand-up forklift, and comfortably use a handheld scanner in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an Order Picker to join our Talley team in Woodridge, IL!

SHIFT

10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

• Promote a positive working environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect, and adherence to the organization's stated principles and values
• Pick customer orders, of all types, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Determine if orders can ship via the manner indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary actions to resolve incompatible shipping methods
• Provide picked orders to the shipping team / will call support for outbound processing
• Demonstrate and apply analytic problem-solving skills to resolve day-to-day inventory issues that impact order-picking processes
• Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility
• Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
• Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

What You'll Need

• 1-year warehouse experience.
• High School or GED - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to operate a standard and stand-up forklift
• Required to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
• Customer Service skills a plus
