Job summary

Standard Process Inc. seeks an Order Picker II to prepare product and literature orders for shipment. You will store inventory, meet deadlines, and uphold safety and quality standards in the warehouse.

The role runs 2:00 am to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a pay range of $23.08–$25.38/hr plus a $1.50 shift premium. Apply your forklift skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate customer orders.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic computer software; basic math.
  • Adaptability, communication, safety, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Accept deliveries and store them per procedures.
  • Verify materials against requisitions and packing slips.
  • Maintain warehouse and conduct inventory cycle counts.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders with required paperwork.
  • Operate forklift and Pick To Light systems for accuracy.
  • Palletize cases and perform basic housekeeping per safety rules.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Sipping Supervisor, the Order Picker II will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing product and literature orders for shipment while ensuring shipping deadlines are met. This position will be responsible for storing and distributing required inventory within the warehouse areas as well as fill customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and quality.

2:00 am to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, or as job responsibilities require

Pay

Pay $23.08 - 25.38/hr + 1.50 Shift Premium

Functions
  • Accept deliveries of goods and store them accordingly
  • Verify materials received against purchase requisitions/packing slips
  • Maintain Warehouse; ensure orderly storage of materials/inventory
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts
  • Restock as needed per established procedures
  • Convey materials within plant using material handling equipment (Forklift)
  • Track and log incoming/outgoing inventory
  • Pick, lift, carry, and place product into appropriate boxes to accurately build customer orders
  • Construct the required box for each order and attach all pertinent paperwork
  • Pick and place product per standard operating procedure configuration while meeting expected efficiency goals
  • Utilize Pick To Light Systems to ensure accuracy of customer orders
  • Assemble literature kits, marketing packets, freight orders, and mail promotional materials for sales force and health care professionals
  • Ensure orders and outbound shipments are complete, accurate, and free of damage
  • Repack and weigh any orders that don’t meet Quality Control requirements
  • Palletize cases in preparation for shipment
  • Monitor product racks to ensure accurate product placement
  • Operate various pieces of equipment including case taper, printers, and paper machines
  • Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of the warehouse
  • Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
Qualifications
  • Education High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certifications/Licenses Forklift Certification required
  • Experience 1 year of experience Experience in a fast-paced shipping/receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred Experience using a forklift
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of warehouse management systems Skills in computer software Skills in basic mathematics
