Job summary

MCC Label is seeking an entry-level Picker/Packer for the 2nd shift in Fountain Inn, SC. You will inspect, band, and shrink-wrap stacks of finished labels, assemble and pack boxes, and prepare shipments.

The role requires forklift experience, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position offers regular hours Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm, with opportunities to grow into other roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Must not be afraid of heights.
• Experience using stand up and sit-down forklift equipment.
• Able to spend full shift standing up.
• Positive attitude.
• Physical demands include standing, using hands to feel and touch; frequent walking.
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.
• Binds and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on pallet for shipment.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Complies with safety policies and procedures (ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP).
• Maintains daily housekeeping and supports facility needs.
• Travels as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Picker/Packer on 2nd Shift is tasked with inspecting, banding and shrink-wrapping stacks of finished labels as well as assembling and packing boxes of finished labels. Meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. Interacts with other departments to achieve company's core strategies. Must not be afraid of heights. Experience using stand up and sit-down forklift equipment is required. This is an entry level role that we intend to grow into other positions within the company. 2nd Shift Position: Mon - Fri 3pm-11pm
