Order Picker

Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, is seeking an Order Picker for our Norton, MA facility. This full-time, non-exempt position offers $17-$20 per hour based on experience. Key Responsibilities

1. Receive and verify incoming pick tickets.
2. Retrieve orders based on specified criteria.
3. Stage products on pallets for production.
4. Build pallets and position them in queue areas.
5. Restock inventory manually or with equipment.
6. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting malfunctions.
7. Follow health & safety policies and quality standards.
8. Perform other duties as needed to support workflow and production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting.
• Attention to detail for order accuracy.
• Experience or licensing in handling forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers.
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Punctuality and diligence.
• Ability to work well with others.

Working Conditions

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with temperature fluctuations.
