Job summary

The Order Picker at The Restaurant Store supports the Order Fulfillment Manager in all aspects of the customer order process at a retail branch. You will fulfill orders by accurately picking, consolidating, slotting, and completing tasks aligned with sales, fulfillment, inventory, and merchandising goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in retail or supply chain, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience with CRM systems and project management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Pick, consolidate, and slot customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Complete order fulfillment tasks in alignment with branch goals.
• Meet or exceed efficiency and accuracy metrics.

Job Summary

The Order Picker will fulfill customer orders by accurately picking, consolidating, slotting, and completing all functions related to order fulfillment in alignment with the goals of our sales, order fulfillment, inventory and merchandising teams.

• Pick, consolidate, and slot customer orders accurately and efficiently using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Complete all order fulfillment tasks in alignment with branch operational goals
• Meet or exceed company-defined efficiency and accuracy metrics
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe order fulfillment area
• Communicate discrepancies, order status or issues effectively with Order Fulfillment Manager
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems and project management tools
