Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Order Management Specialist to connect with customers by phone or email, process purchase orders, and address inquiries in a timely, accurate manner. The role is on-site in Marlborough, MA and reports to the Customer Service Manager.

You will handle data entry, order review, and customer problem solving, contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly targets, and collaborate with sales and management to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of data entry experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP, Salesforce, and MS Office preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.
• Ability to follow procedural guidelines and interpret inquiries.

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for interacting with customers over the phone or via email to identify needs and determine appropriate action. They are also responsible for processing purchase orders, documenting customer complaints, and responding to customer service needs, including shipment, billing and basic product inquiries.

This position reports to the Customer Service Manager and is part of the Commercial Operations Customer Service Team located in Marlborough, MA and will be an on-site role.

What you’ll do

• Act as a focal point for customers via email and phone.
• Excellent data entry skills to quickly and accurately review and input data with the ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage priorities. Ability to review and comprehend purchase orders, proposals and sales agreements along with providing customer-related reports to management, sales and customers as needed/required
• Respond to and/or research customer concerns/inquiries with urgency and accuracy. Demonstrate basic problem-solving skills through an investigative approach and provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring
• Execute all tasks assigned by the manager diligently, on schedule and to the highest standard.
• Work with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets understanding that their teams’ success is their own success and they share responsibility when their team experiences difficulties

Who you are

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of related work experience including but not limited to data entry skills to quickly and accurately review and input data
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Oracle (or similar ERP), Salesforce and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor; demonstrated computer proficiency
• Strong ability to follow and adhere to procedural guidelines; aptitude for interpreting customer inquiries/problems

The annual salary range for this role is $55,000 – $57,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
