Job summary

Natorp Nursery is seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Lead to oversee all order harvesting and assembly operations. You will lead and mentor the team, drive efficiency, and ensure quality and safety while coordinating with Sales, Growers, and Production leadership to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, continuous improvement, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced plant production environment. Weekend and seasonal overtime may be required, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory management, or related operations.
• 3+ years leading, supervising, or managing employees.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Harvest & Assembly operations to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Assign daily workloads, monitor productivity, and provide real-time coaching, feedback, and training to team members.
• Collaborate with Sales, Growers, and the Production Coach to ensure products meet quality expectations and customer requirements.
• Monitor team performance through established metrics and benchmark standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and optimize labor utilization.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives focused on maximizing output while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Assess the quality of products and processes by evaluating effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
• Complete and maintain administrative tasks associated with Harvest & Assembly operations, including reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
• Train and develop team members using established job aids, procedures, and best practices.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
• Ensure a safe workplace by promoting and enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with staffing, cross-training, and workforce planning as needed.

We are seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Lead to oversee all aspects of customer order harvesting and assembly operations. • Willingness and flexibility to work weekends and seasonal overtime as required.
