Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a 1st shift Order Picker in Hobart, IN to accurately pick same-day orders and assemble parts for delivery. The role involves using forklifts as needed, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and basic math skills, with good communication and organization. Experience with shipping or forklift is a plus, and safety rules must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating forklift is a plus.
• Experience with inventory/shipping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Picking parts of various size, shape, and weight according to sales orders.
• Placing parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.
• Delivering part orders to the requested packaging area.
• Meeting expectations for number and accuracy of sales orders picked.
• May be required to use material handling equipment forklift, stand-up forklift, Big Joe; following all safety rules.
• Reading and maintaining information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.
