Job summary

Flint Group in Charlotte, NC seeks a Production Expediter to monitor and coordinate priority and at-risk orders as they move through the facility. You will work with Production, Quality Control, Shipping, Customer Service, and site leadership to identify delivery risks and escalate issues promptly.

This is not a direct production role and may also support scheduling and shipping activities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and SAP experience, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, customer service, logistics, or a related operational role.
• SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Track priority and at-risk orders from release through production, QC approval, staging, and shipment.
• Maintain clear visibility of critical orders, priorities, risks, and outstanding actions.
• Identify production, material, quality, or shipping issues that could impact delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Shipping, Customer Service and others to resolve obstacles.
• Escalate unresolved issues promptly to site leadership and Customer Service.
• Provide timely order-status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor SAP for order status, production progress, inventory, and shipment information.
• Support daily production scheduling and sequencing activities.
• Assist Shipping and Receiving with order coordination and shipment priorities.
• Participate in daily order-review meetings and report critical status.
• Maintain tracking tools and reports for priority orders and actions.
• Identify recurring delay causes and support improvements to order flow.
