Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Memphis, TN is hiring an Order Filler Picker for the Weekend 1st Shift. You will receive, scan, sort, pick and pack customer orders and prepare packages for outbound shipping.

Hours are 6:00am–6:30pm with mandatory overtime during busy periods, on Fridays through Sundays. Requirements include 6 months in a warehouse, with pallet jack and RF scanner experience, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and familiarity with WMS like Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP or AS/400.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience operating a manual pallet jack.
• Minimum 6 months experience using an RF Scanner.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders and ensure correct product is loaded and shipped.
• Accurately count product inventory by location.
• Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

The core responsibilities of this role include: receive incoming freight packages to scan and sort for put-away; pick and pack customer orders; prepare packages for outbound shipping.

Position: Order Filler Picker

Shift: Weekend (1st) Shift

Hours: 6:00am - 6:30pm - overtime is mandatory during busy production

Days: Friday - Sunday

Pay: $19.05 per hour

Shift Differential: $2.00

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse
• A minimum of 6 months experience operating a manual pallet jack
• A minimum of 6 months experience using an RF Scanner
• ability to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout assigned shift
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System such as Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, AS/400

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 6 months computer experience in a warehouse environment.

Role Purpose

Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.

• Accurately count product inventory by location .
• Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred
