Job summary

TVH is hiring a Warehouse Order Filler in Grayslake, IL. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm and pays $18 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is also offered.

The role focuses on meeting productivity and accuracy goals within the distribution center. Key duties include reading pick tickets, selecting correct parts, and verifying part numbers. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance, plus data-entry accuracy and attention

Performs and completes basic essential functions with a focus on understanding and meeting productivity and accuracy goals within the Distribution Center.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Read pick tickets and distinguish the location and part number
• Pick parts according to quantities listed on the pick ticket
• Pick parts according to quantities listed on the pick ticket
• Visually identify that part in location is correct per description and part number listed on pick ticket
• Use repetitive motions; walk and stand; use hands and arms to reach, feel, grasp, finger, lift, push and pull from floor lever to overhead. Required to; stoop, kneel, crouch, sit and climb or balance. Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.

You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.

• Previous experience in warehouse setting is plus, but not required
