The role requires a high school diploma or GED and VA State Board registration, with preference for those having long-term care pharmacy experience and strong computer and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the VA State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Experience in order entry and long-term care pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficient order entry and follow-up.
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
• Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Must work with urgency and timeliness.
