Responsibilities

Enter incoming orders for pharmacy services, inform customers of receipt, pricing, shipping dates, and delays. Respond to customer inquiries.

Hours: 1st shift, every 3rd weekend

Duties

1. Enter customer information, product details, and specifications into the order entry system.
2. Verify and input physician information.
3. Enter new medication orders and refills.
4. Sort, correlate, and distribute copies from fax machines.
5. Respond to customer complaints or issues, escalating as needed.
6. Review and verify order accuracy against previous information.
7. Assist in the preparation and shipment of orders.
8. Check inventory for availability.
9. Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete ones for further processing.
10. Maintain standards of excellence.
11. Support departmental and company goals.
12. Comply with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
13. Perform duties with a friendly, team-oriented approach.
14. Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• KY Pharmacy Technician registration or eligibility.

Experience

• 1-3 years of order entry, sales, or service experience; healthcare, senior living, pharmacy, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
