Job summary

AuBurn Long Term Care Pharmacy in Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking an experienced Full-Time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour work week.

Primary duties include reviewing and entering prescription orders from various sources, triaging calls, refilling prescriptions, and collaborating with staff to ensure timely medication delivery in LTC and group homes. A MO Pharmacy Technician license is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience with order entry in LTC settings.
• Strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.

Job description

AuBurn Long Term Care Pharmacy has an opening for a dedicated professional to join our team. Located in Excelsior Springs, MO, our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. We have an immediate need for an experienced Full-Time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician. This position will be Full Time up to 40 hours/week.

This position requires reviewing and entering prescription orders from a variety of sources, answering and triaging phone calls, refilling prescriptions and working with pharmacy staff to provide timely and accurate medication delivery. Our patients reside in long-term care and assisted living communities and there is little direct patient communication. Data entry is a dynamic work environment that requires focus and attention to detail. Several years of experience is preferred. You must already be licensed with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy with an active Pharmacy Technician license.
