Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group seeks an Order Processing Technician to interpret customer specs, create manufacturable work-order instructions, and resolve discrepancies with customers and partners. You will produce manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD or DraftSight and manage multiple orders with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong math and drafting skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Algebra and geometry problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret hardware templates, blueprints, and architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and other common applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders from basic to highly configured levels.
• Handle technical inquiries from manufacturing and customers.
• Produce drawings for manufacturing using AutoCAD or DraftSight.
• Submit and document information requests, clarifications, and changes.
• Understand and apply standard steel industry practices.
• Communicate discrepancies or conflicts with customers.
