Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Capitol Heights, MD is hiring an Order Checker to ensure accuracy of customer orders as they leave the warehouse. You will inspect pallets, verify quantities against pick tickets, and document discrepancies before loading for delivery.

Work is in a fast-paced warehouse environment with lifting up to 75 lbs and collaboration with teammates to correct any issues. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.40 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Up to 12 months of work experience may be gained.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of Customer Orders by inspecting built pallets and reviewing Pick Tickets.
• Inspects returning Route Deliver Trucks and performs Blind Counts to compare counts.
• Documents discrepancies and updates reports accordingly.
• Accounts for returned Product and Deposit Items on Trucks and ensures correct classification.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and supports pallet building as needed.
