Job summary

Confidential Orchard Manager is seeking an experienced leader to oversee a 50-60+ acre orchard and direct year-round operations. The operation actively expands with new plantings and a four-person full-time team onsite.

The ideal candidate has a strong outdoor agricultural background with leadership experience; direct orchard/tree-fruit experience is preferred but not required. Relocation candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a 50-60+ acre orchard.

• Oversee seasonal activities including winter pruning, spring planting and pesticide applications, summer tree management, and fall harvest.
• Manage the establishment and care of newly planted trees.
• Plan labor and daily activities based on seasonal needs.
• Monitor crop/tree health and address production concerns.
• Coordinate crop protection and pesticide activities.
• Oversee harvest operations for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Support continued orchard growth and expansion.

An established agricultural operation is seeking an experienced Orchard Manager to oversee a 50-60+ acre orchard and lead its year-round operations. The orchard is actively expanding with new plantings and currently has a team of four full-time employees.

The ideal candidate has a strong outdoor agricultural background with experience leading employees and managing seasonal farming activities. Direct orchard experience is preferred but not required.

• Lead and work alongside a team of four full-time employees.
