Job summary

Steico Industries, Inc., a company of Senior Plc, is seeking an Orbital Weld Prep Operator. This role involves fabricating and prepping tubing assemblies, performing orbital welding, and reading blueprints to meet customer requirements.

Training will be provided, with a focus on safety and precision in a manufacturing setting. You will work an AM shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and contribute to quality through calibration checks, blueprint interpretation, and proper equipment setup, while

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided on process and equipment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Basic computer literacy and math abilities are needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate tube assemblies using saws and hand tools.
• Use calipers and laser vision to meet blueprint specs.
• Pre-Weld cleaning of tubes/fittings with buffers and drills.
• Read blueprints and customer data accurately.
• Tack weld fittings with TIG; set up orbital weld equipment.
• Operate orbital weld machine and verify welds per specs.
• Inspect welds with visual and optical tools to spec.
• Maintain 5S and safety requirements; perform basic maintenance.
