Job summary

L3Harris Technologies invites eligible service members to join as an Orbital Analyst under the DoD SkillBridge program at Vandenberg SFB, CA. You will support space-domain awareness activities, perform orbit determination, and develop models with tools like STK and MATLAB.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a national security setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain/maintain DoD suitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate orbital models and analysis tools.
• Contribute to satellite SSA analyses and trajectory design.
• Collaborate with software teams to implement models.
• Lead limited technical aspects within projects.
• Interact with customers and project managers on deliverables.
