Qualifications

• Two or more years of space-related experience in Space Situational Awareness, satellite catalog maintenance, orbital analysis, and collision avoidance.
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and astrodynamics.
• Experience with Linux-based OS (Red Hat/Fedora).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• US citizenship and eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to solve orbital mechanics problems and process data for orbit states and predictions.
• Coordinate and integrate information across multiple areas to enable customer situational awareness and decisions.
• Possible expansion into conjunction assessment and proximity operations and related orbit analysis tasks.
• Crew work outside of normal business hours may be required.
