Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an Orbital Analyst, Space Ground Systems, to support observatory operations, configure edge compute on Windows and Linux, and assist with satellite tracking data analysis. You will help maintain the space object catalog and ensure data meets customer standards. This role operates on a 24/7 basis within a dedicated team.

The position emphasizes hands-on operations, data curation, and quality assurance, requiring attention to detail and clear cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in CS, SE, Math or Physics.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and detailed requirements.
• Willing to work in a monitoring/operations environment including shift/on-call hours.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to monitoring and analysis of global telescope network operations.
• Identify knowledge articles and SOPs for network operations.
• Triage issues, root cause analysis, and coordinate next steps.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
• Contribute to software solutions to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing UX with engineering constraints.
