Job summary

KBR seeks a Mission Interface / Orbital Analyst to support PolSpOC operations, provide advanced orbital analysis, and guide operational decisions. You will translate complex findings into practical guidance for customers and partners, and mentor engineers while delivering trusted technical judgments.

This hybrid role in Colorado requires strong SDA awareness, orbital mechanics knowledge, and the ability to work independently within core support hours.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years professional experience in orbital analysis or space operations.
• Working knowledge of orbital elements, state solutions, maneuvers and perturbations.
• Ability to deliver accurate, defensible analysis on mission timelines.
• Experience briefing, instructing, mentoring, or guiding personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide orbital analysis support using state data, orbital parameters, and SDA information.
• Characterize satellite behavior and conjunction events with orbital mechanics expertise.
• Identify anomalous space object activity and provide concise assessments.
