Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks an Orbit Analyst to join our flight dynamics software team supporting critical 24x7 space operations. You will develop and maintain orbit databases for use in COTS flight dynamics products, ensuring optimal performance for mission-critical operations.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in a related discipline and at least 5 years in orbit analysis and product development, with proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Java and familiarity with

• Strong foundation in orbital mechanics and celestial mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain orbit databases for COTS flight dynamics products.
• Apply orbit design and optimization guidelines for 24x7 operations.
• Analyze customer requirements and design product enhancements.
• Serve as a technical liaison between users and flight dynamics products.
• Collaborate with customers for reviews, installations, and testing.
