Job summary

Civil Technology Inc. is seeking an ORAT Project Manager to support Operational Readiness Activation & Transition at Denver International Airport under the Great Hall program.

You will lead coordination among stakeholders, support readiness planning, and drive trial operations to ensure full operational performance from day one. Responsibilities include developing ORAT plans, coordinating with partners, managing risks, training staff, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Airport or Operations Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in stakeholder communications and/or ORAT (project management/planning).
  • Strong project management and planning skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Dynamic and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ORAT methodologies and aviation operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop ORAT plans and coordinate execution through meetings and site walks.
  • Transition Management: Oversee turnover of projects and compile operation manuals and guides.
  • Risk Management: Track risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with airport partners and ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Training and Simulation: Coordinate training programs and simulations for staff readiness.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document actions, maintain schedules and trackers, provide updates to ORAT team.
  • Quality Assurance: Support post-transition evaluations and lessons learned.

Job description

Civil Technology Inc. (CTI) is seeking a highly qualified ORAT Project Manager to support Operational Readiness Activation & Transition (ORAT) services at Denver International Airport under the Great Hall program. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that newly constructed and renovated areas in the Great Hall are ready for acceptance and seamlessly transitioned to the operations team.

The successful candidate will lead coordination among multiple stakeholders, support readiness planning, and execute trial operations to ensure full operational performance from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Support the development of ORAT plans as well as the execution and coordination of the plans through meetings, site walks, etc.
  • Transition Management: Support the turnover of projects by tracking and transmittal of extra material stock for stakeholders, compiling operation and maintenance manuals and assist in creating operational guides for stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Track risks and challenges associated with the transition of project deliverable to the stakeholders and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively identify and elevate risks to minimize disruptions to airport operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Collaborate with airport partners to gather input, address concerns, and ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach to design, construction and ORAT.
  • Training and Simulation: Coordinate and support training programs and simulations to prepare airport staff for the transition. Ensure that all team members are well-equipped to handle their roles during the transition period.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Support the ORAT team by taking meeting minutes, documenting action items and developing schedules and trackers to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of ORAT activities. Provide regular updates to ORAT team.
  • Quality Assurance: Support post-transition evaluations, surveys and lessons learned to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Airport or Operations Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in stakeholder communications and/or ORAT (project management/planning).
  • Strong project management and planning skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Dynamic and detailed-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly and be resourceful
  • Professional experience in airport or airline operations, organizational development, or large-scale event logistics.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in high-stakes, multi-entity environments.
  • Familiarity with ORAT methodologies
  • Denver International Airport, Airline, Aviation, TSA, or Build experience is a plus.
  • PMP certification or related project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and industry best practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel and BlueBeam Revu
