Job summary

A project management firm in Houston, Texas is seeking an Operational Readiness and Transition Executive to ensure facilities are fully operational at handover. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and the management of move planning and workforce readiness for large-scale projects. Candidates should have a Master's degree and 15-20 years of relevant experience, including in construction and operations. Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience in operations, construction, project management, or facility activation.
• Experience with large-scale facility openings, infrastructure projects, or complex program transitions.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, commissioning, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ORAT strategy, framework, and execution plans.
• Act as the primary liaison between construction teams, operators, vendors, and end users.
• Coordinate user testing, operational validation, and system familiarization.
• Plan and coordinate move-in logistics, sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Maintain ORAT documentation, logs, and readiness dashboards.
