Job summary

Blue Ridge Oral Surgery is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the surgeon during consultations and procedures, ensure patient comfort, and support office efficiency.

You will provide pre-operative and post-operative care, obtain necessary clearances, and maintain records, equipment, and safety standards in a fast-paced dental surgical setting. Travel to Lexington practice may be required; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during surgeries and consultations; seat patients.
• Take vitals, monitor anesthesia if trained, and ensure consent forms.
• Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Maintain records and charting per standards; ensure safety practices.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
• Foster good rapport with patients, doctors and team.
• Handle confidential information professionally and maintain patient experience.
