Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management is seeking a detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support our oral surgery team in Knoxville, TN. You will assist during surgeries, seat patients, and monitor vitals while ensuring strict safety and confidentiality standards are upheld.

You will also provide pre/post-operative instructions, obtain necessary clearances, and maintain equipment and records. A strong team player with adaptability and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic CPR certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
• Hepatitis B vaccination and TB vaccination/titer required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Assist the surgeon during procedures, seat patients, and monitor vitals.
• Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients and obtain necessary clearances.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety guidelines, manage radiation safety and proper imaging exposure.
• Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with standards.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments in good working condition.
• Maintain rapport with patients, doctors, and team members; resolve conflicts constructively.
• Maintain patient and clinic confidentiality in private settings.
• Enhance patient experience by ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout visit.
• Be adaptable to additional duties and flexible schedules as needed.
