You will review patient schedules, assist in surgical procedures, and maintain infection-control policies. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma and 1+ years of surgical or dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Surgical or Dental assisting experience required.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient schedule one day prior to ensure readiness for treatment.
• Open office and operatories, ensuring readiness.
• Communicate patient medical and dental histories to the doctor.
• Obtain dental radiographs and report findings.
• Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
