Job summary

Oral Surgery Partners in Arnold, MO is seeking a Surgical Assistant to support oral surgeons during procedures, maintain patient safety, and help deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The Surgical Assistant will prepare instruments, monitor vital signs during procedures, assist with postoperative care, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked operatory.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and Basic Life Support; dental or oral surgery experience is preferred, with on-the-job

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required; employer will train if needed.
• Previous dental or oral surgery experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during procedures and ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate with patients professionally and provide post-op instructions.
• Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures.
• Document patient encounters and surgical procedures accurately.
• Maintain safe, compliant operatory environment and follow protocols.
