Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to join modern, digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. You will provide a wide range of dentoalveolar surgeries with in-office sedation where permitted, collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality patient care.

We offer competitive daily compensation or production-based pay, flexible scheduling (2–4 Saturdays per month, with potential increase), malpractice coverage, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication).
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain Real ID for base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries.
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office).
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts.
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
