Job summary

Pine Dentistry & Braces - a Benevis company in Mount Vernon, VA is seeking a licensed Oral Surgeon for a PRN, moonlighting role. You will perform third molar and complex extractions in a well-supported clinical setting and collaborate with dental teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The position is designed to fit existing schedules, with flexible 1-2 days per month and no long-term commitment beyond PRN coverage. Experience in community dental settings is valued.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program is required.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency is required.
• Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, DEA and applicable state credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases.
• Provide surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate.
• Deliver oral surgery care efficiently and safely in a well-supported dental environment.
• Partner with our dental office teams to ensure compliant, patient-centered care.

Education

DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program

CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency

Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure

Current BLS, ACLS, DEA and applicable state credentials

• Daily compensation of $1,200-$5,000 - structured as the greater of a guaranteed daily minimum or a percentage of adjusted production

Responsibilities

Our oral surgery practice has:

• DentaPro software
• Digital x-ray and Panorex units
• Dedicated dental assistants trained to support oral surgery procedures
• Yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training

Oral Surgeon responsibilities include:

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases
