Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck
- Perform full‑scope AMS procedures, including but not limited to:
- Dental extractions, including impacted third molars
- Dental implants, All‑on‑X, and implant‑supported prosthetics
- Bone grafting and sinus augmentation
- Pathology and biopsy procedures
- Management of oral infections and facial trauma (as applicable)
- Provide IV sedation and anesthesia services in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with referring dentists, orthodontists, and medical professionals
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, risks, and post‑operative care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and professionalism
Qualifications & Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Active Texas dental license or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- DEA license and anesthesia permit (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with experience in implants and advanced surgical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality care, teamwork, and practice growth
