Job summary

PAGNY is seeking a part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in Brooklyn, NY. The surgeon will provide direct patient care, supervise house staff, maintain performance standards, and engage in educational duties.

Candidates must hold a valid dentistry license in New York, be board eligible or certified, and possess ACLS and BLS certifications. Salary ranges from $100,500 for board eligible to $103,500 for board certified based on a 12-hour work week, along with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• License to practice Dentistry in New York State.
• License to practice Dental Anesthesia in New York State.
• Board eligible or Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care.
• Supervision, teaching, and guidance of house staff.
• Assist in maintenance of performance standards.
• Attend weekly staff conferences and committee meetings.
• Organize and supervise clinical trials.
• Provide lectures as directed by the Chief of Service.
