Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks a motivated student for a Summer 2027 Cooperative Education program in our Pharmaceutical Sciences division. The intern will explore formulation, drug delivery, and manufacturing process science for oral solid dosage products, under supervision in a lab/pilot plant setting.

The role emphasizes data analysis, hands-on lab work, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop medicines advancing human health.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a BS or MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline (expected no later than June 2028).
Ability to learn and apply new scientific principles to daily responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to collate and conduct basic data analysis.
Prior experience with Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supports manufacturing operations in pilot plant environments.
Executes routine experiments and interprets data with guidance.
