Directio, a global IT services company, seeks an Oracle Utilities Techno-Functional Developer (C2M / CC&B / MDM) for a U.S. client in energy and utilities to lead end-to-end technical and functional delivery.

You will translate business requirements into FDDs and TDDs, develop custom algorithms and UI maps, monitor batch processing, and configure core Oracle modules across Rating, Billing, Payments and MDM ecosystems.

Formación

• 5–7 years of experience for Mid Level and 8+ years for Senior Level in Oracle CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM.
• Experience with batch processing: monitoring, execution, and error analysis.
• Proficiency in Java SE, Groovy, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XPath/XQuery, and OUAF tools.
• Experience writing FDDs/TDDs and supporting SIT/UAT and hyper-care stabilization.
• Knowledge of Meter-to-Cash lifecycle and MDM/VEE usage engines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum using Jira, Azure DevOps or ServiceNow.

Responsabilidades

• As Oracle Utilities Techno-Functional Developer you will provide end-to-end architecture leadership across Oracle CCS, C2M, CC&B, MDM, and SGG.
• You will be translating functional requirements into FDDs and TDDs; develop custom algorithms, plug-ins, BPA scripts, service scripts, UI maps, Zones, and Portals.
• You will monitor daily and nightly batch processing runs; identify stuck jobs; review logs; restart streams; resolve data exceptions.
• You will configure and support core Oracle modules across Rating, Billing, Payments, Credit & Collections, Deposits, Start/Stop, and To-Do processing.
• You will support MDM measurement data loading, VEE rule execution, and SGG payload processing for smart meters.
• You will build and support REST/SOAP web services and middleware between Oracle Utilities and enterprise apps (Maximo, GIS, Payment Gateways, CIS Portals).
• You will investigate production incidents in ServiceNow/Jira; perform root-cause analysis; write fixes; test in SIT/UAT; prepare CAB changes.

About project:

We are looking for an Oracle Utilities Techno-Functional Developer (C2M / CC&B / MDM) for our U.S. client specializing in IT consulting and modernization for the energy and utilities sector. Our client focuses on delivering innovative solutions, including Customer Information Systems, advisory services, and large-scale transformation projects. Their mission is to support utility organizations in improving efficiency, reliability, and customer experience through advanced technology and strategic expertise.

Responsibilities:

• As Oracle Utilities Techno-Functional Developer you will be providing end-to-end technical and functional architecture leadership across Oracle CCS, C2M, CC&B, MDM, and SGG.
• You will be betranslating functional business requirements into detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs). Develop custom algorithms, plug-in scripts, BPA scripts, service scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals;
• You will be actively monitoring daily and nightly batch processing runs, execution streams, and queue thresholds. Identify stuck or long-running batch jobs, review POSTROUT and application logs, execute stream restarts, and resolve batch data exceptions (e.g. usage transaction errors, billing segment errors);
• You will be configuring and supporting core Oracle modules across Rating, Billing, Payments, Credit & Collections, Deposits, Start/Stop, Premise/Service Agreement management, and To-Do exception processing;
• You will be supporting MDM measurement data loading (IMD), VEE rule execution, Usage Subscription (US) processing, interval data aggregation, and SGG payload processing for smart meters;;
• You will be building and supporting REST/SOAP web services, inbound/outbound messages, and middleware touchpoints between Oracle Utilities systems and enterprise applications (e.g. Maximo, GIS, Payment Gateways, CIS Portals);
• You will be investigating production incidents in ServiceNow/Jira within strict SLA targets. Perform root-cause diagnosis, write code fixes or SQL data scripts, test in non-prod (SIT/UAT), and prepare CAB change packages.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience for Mid Level and 8+ years of experience for Senior Level in technical and functional experience in Oracle CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM;
• Experience with batch processing: daily batch monitoring, batch job execution, thread management, error log analysis, and batch optimization;
• Experience in Java SE, Groovy scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XPath/XQuery, and OUAF Configuration Tools;
• Experience in writing FDDs/TDDs and executing unit testing, SIT, UAT, and hyper-care stabilization support;
• Experience in understanding the Meter-to-Cash (M2C) lifecycle and MDM VEE/usage calculation engines;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
