Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Oracle System Administrator to manage Oracle databases and OCI services both on-prem and in the cloud. Responsibilities include provisioning, patching, backups, upgrades, performance tuning, and security management.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of Oracle-related system administration experience, with OEM/Performance Hub knowledge and scripting abilities. Office location in Minneapolis, MN with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined system administration experience in Oracle databases, Oracle Applications, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience administering Oracle databases.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes.
• Experience with database refresh and cloning procedures.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or Performance Hub
• Knowledge of shell scripting, python, PowerShell, SQL, PL/SQL or other languages

SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Oracle System Administrator that will be responsible for the administration and management of Oracle on-prem and cloud applications and systems.This role performs provisioning, configuration, patching, backup and recovery, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, environment refreshes, and secures access for Oracle Cloud Applications, databases, and other OCI services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The base pay range for this role is $85,300 - $128,000.

(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
