Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Oracle System Administrator to manage on‑prem and cloud Oracle environments, handling provisioning, patching, backups, upgrades, monitoring, and security for Oracle Cloud Applications and OCI services.

You will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and performance in production and non‑production environments. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in Oracle administration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of combined system administration experience in Oracle databases, Oracle Applications, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience administering Oracle databases.
• Experience with backup and recovery processes.
• Experience with database refresh and cloning procedures.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or Performance Hub.
• Knowledge of shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, SQL, PL/SQL or other languages.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated

We are seeking a motivated Oracle System Administrator that will be responsible for the administration and management of Oracle on-prem and cloud applications and systems. This role performs provisioning, configuration, patching, backup and recovery, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, environment refreshes, and secures access for Oracle Cloud Applications, databases, and other OCI services.

The base pay range for this role is $85,300 - $128,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
