Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Experience developing stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and complex queries.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle-based application issues in production or business-critical environments.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Understanding relational database concepts, constraints, and data models.
• Ability to collaborate with data modelers and DBAs without owning data modeling.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for work item tracking.
• Experience using Git for source control and version management.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer for development and debugging.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/SE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, enhances, and supports Oracle database objects and application logic.
• Works with developers to provide database logic and data access for services and user systems.
• Collaborates with data modelers and DBAs on data structures and constraints impact.
• Tunes and optimizes SQL/PL‑SQL for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensures data integrity through validation, transactions, and error handling.
• Provides production support, investigations, root-cause analysis, and resolutions.
• Participates in code reviews, testing, and deployment readiness.
• Clarifies requirements with stakeholders and supports continuous improvement.
