Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Oracle QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid Addison, TX contract role. You will develop Oracle SQL/PLSQL objects, automate tests, and perform ETL testing to ensure data integrity across systems.

The team works in an Agile/Scrum setting with collaboration across business, development, and QA units. Required 5+ years in Oracle DB development and tuning, 3+ years in automation testing, and expertise with ETL testing and data validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development and tuning experience.
• 3+ years automation testing with industry tools/frameworks.
• 3+ years ETL and database testing including data validation and reconciliation.
• Strong relational DB concepts and Oracle architecture knowledge.
• Experience with test planning, case design, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex Oracle SQL/PLSQL objects (queries, procedures, views).
• Tune performance via SQL optimization and indexing strategies.
• Create and maintain database objects (tables, indexes, sequences, MV’s).
• Develop automated test scripts for functional and regression tests.
• Execute test plans, design cases, track defects, manage execution.
• Perform ETL/database testing including data validation and reconciliation.
• Validate ETL processes and data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams.
